On Thursday, February 2nd, Pr. Leaf will lead a short communion service in the Friendship Manor Chapel. The service time has been moved up a half hour, to 3:30pm
You are invited to come at 7pm, the last Thursday of the month (January 26, 2017) to the Parish House Lower Level. Miriam Anderson and Wanda Esping will twine rugs again. Work on your own project or just have fun!
Beginning January 5, 2017, Friendship Manor has regularly scheduled a communion service in the chapel there, for the first Thursday of each month at 4:00pm. Pr. John Leaf, First Lutheran’s visitation pastor, will preside.

WORLD HUNGER SUNDAY Envelopes for donations designated to assist with the ELCA’s World Hunger programs will be in the bulletins Sunday morning, November 27. Envelopes are also available in the pews and narthex. Donations help alleviate hunger in the United States and around the world.
The Altar Guild will put up the Christmas trees and crèche on Saturday morning, November 26. We will meet about 10am. They will be decorated at a later time. If you are available, your help will be appreciated. Thanks, Sandy.
Wednesday, November 23rd, at 7pm, First Lutheran will host a community Thanksgiving service. Area congregations have been invited to participate. Please plan to come share your thanks! We will collect food for the Church of Peace food pantry at the service. We will bring the food to the altar as part of our offering.
