Wednesday, November 23rd, at 7pm, First Lutheran will host a community Thanksgiving service. Area congregations have been invited to participate. Please plan to come share your thanks! We will collect food for the Church of Peace food pantry at the service. We will bring the food to the altar as part of our offering.
Tuesday, November 22, 4pm, First Lutheran will lead a Thanksgiving communion service in the Friendship Manor Chapel.
If you don’t remember to bring non-perishable items Sunday, November 20, for the Church of Peace Food Pantry, bring them Wednesday, November 23, or next Sunday, November 27. When a month has 5 Sundays, Mexican Mission Sunday is on that 5th Sunday . This year, October has a 5th Sunday, so October 30 is Mexican Mission Sunday. The loose offering that day is designated for support of Paul & Nydia Johnson and the Mexican Mission.
Honey Sunday will be Sunday, November 6th. The honey comes from the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. Bottles of delicious honey will be for sale for only $8.00 each and be delivered directly to you!
