A Service of Prayer for this Election Season: 1 November 2020

Stained glass picture of Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

It is both my conviction and part of our baptismal promises
(live with them among God’s faithful people, care for others and the
world God made, and work for justice and peace) to pray for our leadership
and be involved in the civil affairs of our country. As you prayerfully
consider your vote and voice in our civil affairs, or even if you have
already voted, we offer you this opportunity to surround our leaders, the
election, election workers and the general welfare of our nation with
prayer and God’s abounding love. This video is also available through the First Lutheran, Rock Island Facebook site.

Peace, Pastor Chris Lee
