On Saturday, May 13th, beginning at 9am, we will work in the Fellowship Hall Kitchen to make Finnish Pasties for the Folk Arts Fest. Come learn how to make these hot “pot-pies-to-go” in a pastry. These meat and veggie “sandwiches” were used for lunches in the mines in Finland and Wales and are also known as Cornish pies. They will be sold by the Youth and families at the Folk Arts Fest, Saturday, June 10. Samples will be available for helpers on the 13th! Contact Miriam Anderson or Wanda Esping if you have questions.
