There will be a congregational meeting directly following worship, on Sunday, July 9. The only item on the agenda will be the contract for installation of the Parish House patio railing.

WORLD HUNGER SUNDAY
On Sunday, June 25, the 4th Sunday of the month, envelopes for donations designated to assist with the ELCA’s World Hunger programs will be in the bulletins. Envelopes are also available in the pews and narthex. Donations help alleviate hunger in the United States and around the world.
FOLK ARTS FEST FOOD FELLOWSHIP
After worship Sunday, 6/11, come to the Fellowship Hall for some Folk Arts Fest Food. Sausages, potatoes, pasties, snacks, cookies? We don’t know what there will be, but there will definitely be something good to eat!
June Friendship Manor Communion
The June communion service at Friendship Manor will be at 3:30, Tuesday, June 6, in the Chapel.
FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY
Sunday, May 21st, the 3rd Sunday of the month, is Food Pantry Sunday. Please bring non-perishable items for the Church of Peace Food Pantry. You may take home a plastic bag today to help you remember! Thanks!
Scandinavian Hymn Sing-a-long
As part of the Folk Arts Fest, members of First Lutheran are invited to sing hymns from various cultures (all of the hymns are in the hymnal) on Saturday, June 10, from 11-11:45 a.m. We may sing outside or in the narthex. FRIENDSHIP MANOR COMMUNION
On Thursday, May 4, at 3:30pm, First Lutheran will host a Holy Communion service in the Chapel at Friendship Manor.
CELTIC SERVICE
April 23 is the Celtic Service. At 10:30am, celebrate the Easter season Celtic style! Worship is accompanied by guitar, fiddle, flute, drum, and banjo, using Irish, Gaelic, English, Welsh, and American tunes. To support this music ministry, please note “Celtic” on your donation. Thank you!
