Join in for an open Mic Coffeehouse – Friday, March 10, 7 – 10pm, in the Parish House. Refreshments served. Donations benefit St. Joe’s Evening Meal, served weeknights at the Rock Island Township Hall. All welcome!
THEOLOGY ON TAP
The next Theology on Tap will start looking at the book of Matthew. Join us on Thursday, March 9, at 7:30pm, in the back room of M.D. Green’s in the District of Rock Island. Pizza is provided and drinks (alcoholic and not) are available for purchase.

ANNUAL MEETING 2/26
First Lutheran’s 2016 – 2017 Annual Congregational Meeting will be in the Fellowship Hall, SUNDAY, 2/26 after the Jazz Service. Lunch will be provided.

WORLD HUNGER SUNDAY February 26
Envelopes for donations designated to assist with the ELCA’s World Hunger programs are in the bulletins Sunday, 2/26. Envelopes are also available in the pews and narthex. Donations help alleviate hunger in the United States and around the world.
FOLK ARTS
First and Last Arts – Folk Arts meets both the first AND last Thursday of each month in the Parish House Lower Level. Come bring your project to work on or to check out the stool painting, rug twining and braiding, embroidery, etc. that’s happening
