Who we are: First Lutheran Church of Rock Island is associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a congregation that was created from Scandinavian heritage and strong liturgical service.
The congregation, rich in traditions and customs, provides a spirited Sunday service each week.
Our Mission: We commit ourselves to being a Christ-centered community of people, gathering in love to worship the Lord, teaching and spreading His Word, and being responsive to the needs of the community, neighborhood, and individuals.

The Property: First Lutheran is perched overlooking downtown Rock Island and the Davenport riverfront. The grounds offer a peaceful and spiritual enlightenment.
We are paired with a multi-purpose facility known as “The Parish House.” The historic mansion offers accommodating spaces for indoor or outdoor events.
